I’ve completed the rewrite of my network rendering tutorials white paper:
Network Rendering Tutorials White Paper
Mastering LightWave 3D ScreamerNet LWSN
This rewrite expands my network rendering tutorials white paper, Mastering LightWave 3D ScreamerNet LWSN, which was formally Mac OS X only, to be fully cross-platform for both Mac OS X and Windows. The tutorials have also been rewritten and updated to replace the use of discontinued Mac OS X network render controllers with our new cross-platform LightWave 3D ScreamerNet LWSN network controller – DreamLight Constellation. LightWave 3D network rendering has never been easier. You can now even perform drag-and-drop network rendering over the Internet using Dropbox with DreamLight Constellation and DLI_SNUB-Launcher.
The rewritten network rendering tutorials white paper, Mastering LightWave 3D ScreamerNet LWSN, includes a full range of how to, step by step tutorials for background standalone rendering, single computer batch rendering, multi-computer LAN network rendering and even multi-computer WAN network computing harnessing computers over the Internet. The tutorials show how to use our drag and drop utilities for the easiest and quickest way to use LightWave 3D ScreamerNet LWSN as well as using LightWave 3D ScreamerNet LWSN standard built-in tools such as LightWave 3D’s Network Render panel and manually launching LWSN on the command line.
The rewritten network rendering tutorials white paper includes the following new step by step, how to, network rendering tutorials.
- Background Standalone Rendering Tutorial with LightWave 3D ScreamerNet LWSN Mode -3 & DLI_SNUB-Launcher
- Batch Rendering Tutorial with LightWave 3D ScreamerNet LWSN Mode -2 & DreamLight Constellation
- LAN Network Rendering Tutorial with LightWave 3D ScreamerNet LWSN Mode -2 & DreamLight Constellation
- Dropbox Internet Network Rendering Tutorial with LightWave 3D ScreamerNet LWSN & DreamLight Constellation
In addition to the step-by-step, how-to network rendering tutorials the white paper also includes detailed descriptions of all LightWave 3D ScreamerNet LWSN settings in the LightWave config file as well as all the ScreamerNet LWSN command line parameters. My descriptions of the config settings and command line parameters were even used by NewTek to serve as the basis of their LightWave 3D distributed rendering chapter in the LightWave 3D manual from version 9 through 2015+.
The rewritten network rendering tutorials white paper also includes the following LightWave 3D ScreamerNet LWSN reference materials.
- Managing LightWave 3D ScreamerNet LWSN Config Files
- LightWave 3D ScreamerNet LWSN Command Line Parameters
