Astro Pak Corporation – After completing a previous series of 3D illustrations and animation for Astro Pak they asked us to create high resolution 3D trade show graphics to leverage some of the 3D work we had created. DreamLight worked closely with their visual communications manager to create a set of custom high resolution 3D renderings based on the previous 3D projects that they could use for a tradeshow display according to their design needs and print shop specifications. We rendered the main 3D trade show graphics out to a massive 40,000 x 15,000 pixel resolution for high resolution printing on a large wide format 20′ trade show display. We rendered separate elements complete with custom alpha channels to allow for easy compositing and post processing in Adobe Photoshop so their designers could tailor each element into their overall design.
The high resolution 3D trade show graphics along with the previous 3D illustrations and 3D animation helped contribute to a successful show by drawing more customers into the trade show booth.
